This two day Medium Risk Confined Space (6150-02) course is for all persons that are engaged in confined space working or entry up to and including NC Level 3 Medium Risk environments. This course complies with the City and Guilds Level 2 Award in Working in Medium Risk Confined Spaces (6150-02). Delegates will gain knowledge of the specified hazards that may exist in confined spaces and the correct working practices and safety procedures that should be used when working in these conditions.
This course includes the instruction and practical use of a 10 minute Escape Set (Emergency Life Support Apparatus), but does NOT qualify personnel in the use of full breathing apparatus (this is covered in the High Risk course).
The course content will be delivered through a mixture of both theory and practical exercises covering the following subjects:
Assessment will be by continuous practical assessment and a multi-choice written paper. All persons who successfully complete the practical and written test will receive a City & Guilds 6150-02 Certificate in Working in Medium Risk Confined Spaces.
The certification is valid for 3 years.
