The Whitewater Rescue Technician Instructor Training (WRTI) is for river professionals and outdoor instructors. It is designed for teaching whitewater rescue techniques.
Prerequisites:
Current WRTA
EMT or Advanced First Aid Qualification

Structuring courses

Risk assessments
Health and safety legislation
Candidates are expected to further develop their personal skills and knowledge between their training and assessment courses, following an individual action plan outlined in the training course debrief. This course is a training course only and does not qualify candidates until they have completed a separate Assessment course (3 days).
